The Foundation thanks its scholarship sponsors: MNA District 2, Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association, Maryland Association of Associate Degree Nursing Directors, Mercy Hospital Nursing Alumnae / Bunting Foundation, NFM Trustee Dr. Marye Dorsey Kellermann, and NFM President Sadie Parker. Also, the Foundation thanks Audrey Lee, local Annapolis artist, for her original oil painting donation entitled Chauncey Street and MNA President Lou Bartolo whose winning bid at the silent auction added value to next year’s nursing scholarships.
This year, six $1,000 NFM scholarships were awarded. The NFM scholarships are funded by the generous support of the convention and gala attendees who participate in the raffles; donations of 16 raffle gifts from Districts 2, 3 and 7, NFM President Sadie Parker and NFM Treasurer Barb Biedrzycki for this year’s convention; online donations via the NFM website; and support of the Giving Tuesday campaign.
You can contribute to the 2025 nursing scholarships by donating through the NFM website The Nursing Foundation of Maryland. You, your MNA District, your employer, organizations, and businesses can also create a scholarship in their names. Contact the NFM through its website or email [email protected] for more information.
